Organizational Assessment
We believe the greatest partnerships come from an aligned approach.
Before we begin, we want to take a moment to be transparent about what we look for in organizational partners and how we show up in this work. If any of this resonates with you, we'd love to hear more.
What we look for in partner organizations:
We work best with organizations that are ready to do the deep-rooted work. That means we're looking for partners who:
Live their values. Your values aren't just on a wall or in a document — they show up in how you treat your team, make decisions, and engage your community.
Center the people they serve. Whether your stakeholders are employees, grant partners, or communities, you keep people — not just metrics — at the heart of your decisions, from leadership structure to program implementation. You’re particularly aligned when you are led by the people you serve (e.g. disabled or systems-impacted leaders).
Are “in good standing” with their state governments and the IRS. We operate with grace for mistakes because we’re all human. We just ask that you ensure your organization is fully compliant and in good standing prior to our engagement. This will help both of us to make the most of our time together.
Are open to honest reflection and accountability. Growth requires a willingness to be uncomfortable, to look at what may not be working, and to take responsibility for the contributing factors within your control. We will support you along the way.
Have leadership buy-in. Sustainable change happens from the inside out. Your leaders are committed to the change process, knowing their role is vital to ensure that effective solutions outlast our partnership.
Are ready to invest time, energy, and resources. It takes capacity to build capacity. To get the most out of our partnership - whether a one-time strategy session or a year-long engagement - you come in prepared to be active participants.
How we work best:
We delight in building genuine relationships, questioning assumptions, challenging with care, and staying with you as we all grow in the process. Here's what you can expect from us:
We start by listening. Most sustained engagements begin with an organizational assessment — a deep dive into your systems, culture, staff experience, and the alignment between your mission and your day-to-day practice.
We co-create. Our strategies are built alongside you. You know your organization best — we bring frameworks, questions, and experience to help you move forward.
We're clear and transparent. You can expect honest feedback, direct communication, and no jargon for the sake of jargon. We'll share with you our insights and we'll work through it together.
We practice supportive accountability. As we help you co-create a culture where accountability is cultivated, we invite feedback on how we can correct any missteps in our partnership with you.
We think in systems. We're not here to fix one thing and leave. We look at the interconnected pieces — leadership, operations, culture, community impact — and help your team build a restorative workplace and extend the positive change.
We aim for sustainable change. We're driven by our desire to make connections, build capacity, and create positive impact with your organization that can weather time and barriers beyond our engagement.
What you come away with:
Our organizational assessments are a structured evaluation of how your culture shows up in practice — where it’s thriving and where it needs attention. These assessments are the foundation to most of the work we do, whether that’s restorative systems change, board development, or strategic planning.
We look at communication patterns, power dynamics, staff experience, and any gaps between your values and your day-to-day reality. You come away with a clear view of what’s working, what isn’t, and where to focus your energy.

If you've read this far and we feel like a good match, we'd love to learn more about your organization. This form is the first step — it helps us understand where you are, what you're hoping for, and whether we're the right team to support you.
There's no commitment required at this stage. Once we receive your form, a member of our team will be in touch to explore what's possible together.
